About 400 architects gathered in the Manuel de Falla auditorium to discuss the current and future situation of the sector, to find out more about the catalogue of this edition, which includes 120 works selected from more than 670 accomplishments presented, as well as the details of the 29 finalists aspiring to clinch the Arquia Upcoming Award.

The event could be followed live via streaming and on the social network Twitter, #arquiaforo had about 2000 tweets, generating an impact of more than 4 million.

You will soon be able to replay all of the contributions of all those selected, as well as the round table, the lecture by Alberto Campo Baeza, 'Searching hard for beauty', the presentation of the topic of this edition of the arquia/grants call, 'a tower for flying' by Juan Domingo Santos and the awarding of the diplomas and awards. The jury, comprising Eva Franch, general curator, Emilio Tuñón, Toni Gironès, Izaskun Chinchilla, Luis Úrculo and Andrés Jaqueawarded the Arquia Upcoming Award, to the following set of accomplishments  Analogical Smart Cities, Paradise Lost, Monu//Bench Project, From Olympic Games to Urban Games and Social Alphabets / Alphabet Cities by the architectural collective PKMN.

The jury also awarded the following awards:

New Work Project Award for the accomplishment Germans Soler butcher's shop, by Pau Sarquella;

Interior Design and Restoration Award for the accomplishment Didomestic by ELII (Carlos Palacios, Eva Gil, Uriel Fogué);

Culture, Research and Training Award for the accomplishment Quadernsby Guillermo López Ibáñez, Anna Puigjaner and José Zabala

City and Territory ex aequo award for the accomplishments, the El BlocOnze de Can Batlló (BlocOnze of Can Battló), by La Col (Carles Baiges, Eliseu Arrufat) and El Campo de Cebada (the barley field), by the neighbourhood collective it is named after.
