IDEAS COMPETITION - SPANISH PAVILION FOR THE VENETIAN BIENNIAL - DEADLINE APRIL 1, 2016

10 FEBRERO 2016 / FOUNDATION

In the context of the celebration of the fifteenth edition of the Venetian International Biennal of Architecture, the commissioners of the Spanish Pavilion, Iñaqui Carnicero and Carlos Quintáns launch this Ideas Competition , in parallel to the process for the selection of projects already built. The aim is to develop a new project that responds to the "Unfinished" argument raised by the Spanish Pavilion for the Venitian Biennal 2016.

The situation can be real or a development of a generic approach that responds to circumstances recognizable in the current situation.

ELEVATIONS without land

CONSOLIDATE without autonomy

PATTERNS without deadlines

STRUCTURES without cladding

DEMOLITIONS without equipment

GENERIC without a programme

ADAPTIVE without permanence

REAPROPRIATION without new spaces

RAW without finishing

LOW COST without money

COLLABORATIVE without authorship

SUBVERSIVE without regulations

JURY:

The jury will be made up by the scientific committee of the Spanish Pavilion for the Venetian Biennal 2016, consisting of Santiago de Molina, Jacobo Garcia and Angel Martinez Germán García-Posada as well as the commissioners, Iñaqui Carnicero and Carlos Quintáns

AWARDS:

They are a maximum of 10 prizes of 1,000 euros each
