Le Corbusier in Paris in arquia/film archive

A documentary produced by the BBC, where you can watch Le Corbusier in his studio located in the Molitor apartment building on 24th Street Nungesser-et-Coli. The building was designed between 1931 and 1934 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, his cousin and associate. Due to its east-west orientation and its exceptional environment, it fits into what Le Corbusier called the Ville Radieuse conditions, defined in the text which developed from 1931 to 1933.

In the documentary, Le Corbusier explains his concept of the city and compares it to the way of life of the city of New York by contrasting images of everyday life of the people in the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille and in the city.
